everything is illuminated

Friday, December 21, 2007

i read this a long time ago, posted it up on my old blog, forgotten about it, and, suddenly, i thought about it again last nite as i lay awake thinkin abt stuff. its from jonathan safran foer's book "everything is illuminated."

"he knew that i love you means i love you more than anyone loves
you
, and also, i love you in a way that no one loves you, or has loved you,
or will love you
, and also, i love you in a way that i love no one
else, and never have loved anyone else, and never will love anyone else
.
he knew that it is, by love’s definition, impossible to love two people."

ok there u have it.. thats exactly it. thats my definiton of love. i have yet to embrace it again, but 2008 looks hopeful.
